Dartmouth Rotary 4 Change is a weekly 50/50 draw played with toonie coins.

Registration forms and Dartmouth Rotary 4 Change coin-boxes are placed in local businesses (see Where to play for participating vendors).

Patrons of the local business complete a numbered registration form and deposit it in the Dartmouth Rotary 4 Change coin-box displayed on the counter.

The number on the registration card is provided to a participant free of charge and can be used immediately to enter that week’s draw.

The participant prints his/her number on a sticker (provided), applies the sticker to a toonie and deposits the toonie into the coin-box.

Each week, a draw will be made from all registered numbers. A number is qualified to win only if it has been paid and played that week.

Weekly draws are held on Tuesday evenings, 50 weeks per year (excluding Christmas and New Years weeks).

1. To play, you must be at least 19 years of age.

2. You first need to register by completing a registration form. The registered number is yours to play weekly for as long as you wish to play.

3. To "play", place a circular sticker (provided) on a toonie, write your number on the sticker, and place the toonie in the collection box.

4. The only way to play more than one toonie per week is to register for more than one number. There is no limit to the numbers you can play.

5. You can prepay for up to 52 weeks by using the prepay envelope provided.

6. Cut off time for playing each week (to be sure of being included in the weekly draw) is 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.

7. The weekly draw will be made at about 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and announced via email, on our website, on facebook, and twitter. The winner will also be contacted directly.

8. If a number is drawn and the number has not been played that week, the prize rolls over to the following week.

9. Any changes to the lottery must be approved by Alcohol and Gaming before they can be implemented.

10. To claim your prize you may be required to present valid photo ID including proof of age.

11. A toonie is the only coin that can be used (qualify for the draw) with the sticker and placed in the Dartmouth Rotary 4 Change coin-box.
